Caulfield Festival Family Day

Saturday, 11 February 2012, 10:30am to 6:00pm

Free admission for all ages!

The Group One $402,000 Sportingbet C.F. Orr Stakes is one of the most coveted races during the Caulfield Summer Festival of Racing. With a history dating back 88 years, many champions of the turf including Maldivian, El Segundo, Elvstroem, Lonhro, Redoute’s Choice and Saintly have been successful in this weight-for-age showpiece. Last year, Typhoon Tracy claimed top prize for the second year running.

This year, the extraordinary Black Caviar looks to capture this title as part of her Melbourne farewell tour.

Caulfield Festival Family Day also marks the second leg of the Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Series where one colt (or gelding) and filly will be racing to keep themselves in the running for the $1 million bonus to be decided in the Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes.

Off the track, Family Day activities offer an abundance of free entertainment for the whole family!
