Shadwell Arabian Mile

The Melbourne Racing Club in conjunction with Shadwell Stud and the National Arabian Racehorse Association (NARA) will host the Shadwell Arabian Mile – a race for purebred Arabian horses over 1600 metres. The Shadwell Arabian Mile will be run at 12.30pm, prior to Race 1.

Arab Culture and food displays marquee

There will be Arab cultural and food displays taking place in marquees behind the Rupert Clarke Grandstand. Food displays will include savoury and sweet finger food.

Cultural displays will include henna tattoos, posters, brochures, DVDs showcasing the United Arab Emirates and Arabic music.
