Chadstone Fashion Stakes
The Chadstone Fashion Stakes is a highlight on Australia’s fashion calendar, showcasing the best of classic style racewear during the BMW Caulfield Cup Carnival. In 2012, the Chadstone Fashion Stakes incorporates three categories:
Stylish Ladies 18-40 Years
For the chic young woman who has an innate sense of fashion and styling.
Stylish Ladies 40+ Years
Aimed at a sophisticated woman who presents herself with classic style and grace.
Stylish Gentleman
Designed for a man of any age for whom appearance and grooming are of utmost importance.
Judged by a panel of fashion, media and celebrity identities, entrants are encouraged to showcase the very best in stylish spring racing fashions and millinery and are judged on their overall outfit, accessories and attention to detail, seasonal appropriateness and deportment. Entrants compete for some fabulous prizes valued at over $100,000, including luxury holiday packages and fashion prizes. All entrants receive a great gift bag just for entering.
Heats will take place on Carnival Preview Day, Saturday 22nd September, Caulfield Guineas Day, Saturday 13th October and BMW Caulfield Cup Day, Saturday 20th October. Registrations will open in late July 2012.
