2012 Caulfield Designer Award

Melbourne Racing Club is once again holding its prestigious Caulfield Designer Award, providing a unique forum for Australia’s finest designers to showcase their signature spring race wear designs  The brief is to design a signature race wear look based on the individual brand’s style.

• Designers Category: Aspiring and established fashion designers and retailers are invited to take part in this unique industry Award and win $20,000 to underwrite their next major marketing activity.
• Student Category: Students studying design are invited to showcase a race wear look to be in the running to win $2,500 plus assistance with their education and career path.

People’s Choice Award

The People’s Choice Award will allow the public to vote for their favourite race wear outfit. The Designer who polls the most votes will win the 2012 People’s Choice Award and take home $2,500. All public entrants in the People’s Choice Award will go in the draw to win an exclusive BMW Caulfield Cup Day experience and pamper package valued at $4,000.
