History
Introduced in the 2002/2003 season and designed to recognise and reward outstanding achievement, the Melbourne Racing Club Masters' Awards are presented in four categories:
- Master Trainer Caulfield
- Master Jockey Caulfield
- Master Trainer Sandown
- Master Jockey Sandown
The following points system is used to determine the winners, with performances in the highest level races earning a higher score than those in standard events.
