MELBOURNE RACING CLUB RENEWAL INCENTIVE PROMOTION

THE SPRING CARNIVAL OF A LIFE TIME

Terms and Conditions
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry into the promotion commences on Monday, 1st June 2009 and closes at 5.15pm on Friday, 2ND October 2009.
3. Entry is open to all Melbourne Racing Club Full Members, and Young Members.
4. MRC employees, their immediate families, and contractors to the Melbourne Racing Club are not eligible to enter.
5. Any Full or Young Member of the Club who pays for their Melbourne Racing Club Membership subscription during the promotional period will be automatically entered into this promotion.
6. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over. The competition is limited to one entry per person.
7. The winner will be determined by random computer generation.
8. The winning Member will receive a Spring Carnival of a lifetime racing experience during the 2009 Caulfield Spring Racing Carnival. The package includes (2) tickets to The Pegasus Marquee on The Age Caulfield Guineas Day, Saturday 10TH October 2009, (2) tickets to The Trackside fashion Marquee and guided behind the scenes racecourse tour for (2) people on Schweppes Thousand Guineas Day, Wednesday 14TH October 2009, Promenade Tiered Dining package for 6 people including guest ticketing (Racecourse admission and Members Reserve Guest passes) for BMW Caulfield Cup Day, Saturday 17TH October 2009, Return limousine transfers from Members residential address to Caulfield Racecourse on all 3 days of the 2009 Caulfield Spring Racing Carnival (maximum travel distance from Members residential address to Caulfield Racecourse is 100 kilometers), and a $1500 Fashion voucher.
9. Total prize pool is valued at $7988
10. The draw will take place on Monday, 5TH October 2009 at 9.30am at the Caulfield Racecourse, Gate 22, Station Street, Caulfield East. The winner will be notified by phone and in writing, on Monday, 5TH October 2009 and winning Members name will be published in The Age on Thursday 8TH October 2009.
11. The prize is valid for the dates shown.
12. All prizes are non transferable, non exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
13. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
14. If, for any reason, this promotion is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the application process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered(including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in this promotion or taking any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
16. The ‘Promoter’ of this competition is the Victorian Amateur Turf Club (incorporating the Melbourne Racing Club), ABN 96 267 203 634, trading address Caulfield Racecourse, Gate 22, Station Street, Caulfield East VIC 3145.
