MISUSE OF MEMBERSHIP CARD

The Melbourne Racing Club Membership Card is strictly NON TRANSFERABLE

Transferring Cards is a serious breach of Club Rules and offenders will be referred to the Committee. Members are reminded that their Card is not valid unless signed and that specimen signatures must be provided on request. Club officials will conduct random signature checks throughout the season.

MEMBERS’ RESERVE BEHAVIOUR CODE

Members are responsible for the behaviour of their guests (adult and junior) at all times on the racecourse. Any Member (or Member’s guest) found to be guilty of conduct unbecoming of a Member will be referred to the Committee.

LIQUOR LICENCE

In accordance with a local Council law introduced in 2008 and consistent with last year’s Caulfield Spring Racing Carnival, an alcohol free zone has been implemented within designated streets and surrounding perimeter areas of Caulfield Racecourse. The alcohol free zone outside the venue encompasses the external parking areas including the Members’ Car Parks No. 1 and No. 2, where the consumption of alcohol is now strictly prohibited during the Caulfield Spring Racing Carnival. Members should note that substantial fines apply for any breach.

LOST OR STOLEN MEMBERSHIP CARDS

Lost or stolen Membership Cards must be reported to the Membership Department immediately. They will be replaced upon receipt of a Statutory Declaration signed by the Member before an appropriate person. Replacement fees apply and are listed below. The fee will be waived if the Card/Pass was stolen and a copy of a police report is included with the Statutory Declaration.
