Reciprocal Rights
The Melbourne Racing Club has a variety of reciprocal arrangements with other Metropolitan, Country, Interstate and Overseas race clubs.
Melbourne Racing Club Members are required to pay racecourse admission and produce their current Membership Card and Photo ID at the Secretary’s/Race Day Office to claim one (1) complimentary Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass for the day and an additional Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass may be purchased if required (subject to availability).
Reciprocal benefits are not normally extended to Annual Guest Pass holders and are at the discretion of the individual Club.
VICTORIAN METROPOLITAN RACING CLUBS
As a Member of the Melbourne Racing Club you are eligible to receive a complimentary pass into the Members' Reserve at both Flemington and Moonee Valley on selected race meetings and on presentation of a current Membership card. Course admission is required to be paid with the exception of certain days at the VRC, where your MRC card will scan you in the gate and Members’ Reserve. VICTORIAN COUNTRY RACING CLUBS
Reciprocal arrangements cover all non-feature weekday and Sunday meetings excluding Country Cup Days, the three (3) days of the Warrnambool Cup Carnival and special event days as designated by the Club. Members are advised to contact the relevant Club prior to attending.
INTERSTATE RACING CLUBS
ALL RACE DAYS INCLUDING FEATURE CARNIVALS
At all race meetings held at the Interstate racecourses listed below, Melbourne Racing Club Members are required to pay racecourse admission and produce their current Membership Card and Photo ID at the Secretary’s/Race Day Office to receive one (1) complimentary Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass with the option of purchasing one (1) additional Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass.
To establish prices and procedures for gaining access to Interstate Clubs, it is recommended that you contact the appropriate Club prior to attending.

OVERSEAS RACING CLUBS - NEW ZEALAND
Melbourne Racing Club currently has Reciprocal arrangements in place with the following New Zealand Racing Clubs: Auckland Racing Club, Waikato Racing Club, Wellington Racing Club and Otago Racing Club.
ALL RACE DAYS INCLUDING FEATURE CARNIVALS
At all race meetings held at the above New Zealand racecourses, Melbourne Racing Club Members are required to pay racecourse admission and produce their current Membership Card and Photo ID at the Secretary’s/Race Day Office to receive one (1) complimentary Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass with the option of purchasing one (1) additional Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass.
ALL RACE DAYS EXCLUDING FEATURE CARNIVALS
At all feature race meetings held at Canterbury Jockey Club in New Zealand, Melbourne Racing Club Members are required to pay racecourse admission and produce their current Membership Card and Photo ID at the Secretary’s/Race Day Office to purchase two (2) Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Passes.
On all other non feature race days, Members are required to pay racecourse admission and produce their current Membership Card and Photo ID at the Secretary’s/Race Day Office to receive one (1) complimentary Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass with the option of purchasing one (1) additional Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Pass.
OVERSEAS RACING CLUBS - OTHER
Melbourne Racing Club has no Reciprocal arrangements in place with any other Overseas Racing Clubs Acceptance will be solely at the discretion of Club Secretary/ Chief Executive of the relevant Overseas Club.
Members are required to request a letter of introduction by contacting the Melbourne Racing Club Membership Department on 1300 GO RACE (46 7223) well in advance of the proposed date of departure.
This letter does not guarantee that reciprocal benefits will be extended as acceptance is at the discretion of the Club.
Please note that the reciprocal arrangement between Melbourne Racing Club and other Clubs provides for casual visits only and is not intended for unlimited use at any one Club.
