Categories Of Membership

The Melbourne Racing Club offers a number of different Membership categories to suit the entire family

FULL MEMBERSHIP

A Full Member is entitled to a non-transferable Membership Card admitting to Caulfield and Betfair Park Racecourses and Members’ Reserve and has full voting rights at all Club Committee Elections.

Full Members have access to purchase one (1) Members’ Annual Guest Pass which admits to both Racecourses and Members’ Reserved areas* access to purchase one (1) Members’ Annual Car Parking Pass and Daily Members’ Reserved Guest Passes** on race days.

Full Members are required to pay a Club Entrance Fee

All Full Members aged 26-40 automatically qualify to receive invitations to Club Young Member events held four (4) times per season

LIFE MEMBERSHIP

Once a Full Member has reached 50 years of continuous Membership with the Melbourne Racing Club, Members will automatically be rewarded with Honorary Life Membership.

Upon reaching 50 years of Membership, Life Members are awarded with a Life Member badge for recognition. Life Members are not required to pay a subscription fee and receive a complimentary Members’ Annual Guest Pass and Members’ Annual Car Parking Pass.
Life Members receive the same benefits a Full Member of the Club.

30 YEAR MEMBERSHIP

Once a Full Member has reached 30 years of continuous Membership with the Melbourne Racing Club, Members will automatically be rewarded with a 25% discount on their current Membership subscription fee. Membership benefits are the same as a Full Member of the Club

YOUNG MEMBERSHIP

A Young Member (18-25 years of age) is entitled to a non-transferable Membership Card admitting to Caulfield and Betfair Park Racecourses and Members’Reserve.

Young Members have access to purchase one (1) Annual Guest Pass which admits to both Racecourses and Members Reserved Areas*, access to purchase one (1) Members’ Annual Car Parking Pass and Daily Members’ Reserved Guest Passes** on race days.

Young Members are not required to pay the Club Entrance Fee of $500.

Young Members receive invitations to Club Young Member Events held four (4) times per season with access to purchase additional guest tickets for each event

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

A Junior Member is entitled to a non-transferable Membership Card admitting to Caulfield and Betfair Park Racecourses and Members’ Reserve when accompanied by an adult.

Junior Members are not eligible to purchase additional an Annual Guest Pass, Members’ Annual Car Parking Pass or Daily Members’ Reserve Guest Passes.

Junior Membership is designed to provide an enjoyable transition of Membership categories for young people entering the Club

CLIP CLOP CLUB MEMBERSHIP

A Clip Clop Club Member is entitled to a non-transferable Membership Card admitting to Caulfield and Betfair Park Racecourses on designated Clip Clop Club race days only.

The Clip Clop Club is designed for children under 12 years of age and offers six (6) special race days offering a wide range of children’s activities.

On these race days, Clip Clop Club Members and their two (2) parents/guardians are admitted to the Racecourse FREE (upon presentation of a current Membership Card)

Clip Clop Club Members whose parents/guardians are Full Members of the Melbourne Racing Club qualify for complimentary Daily Junior Members’ Reserve Guest Passes* on all days excluding The Age Caulfield Guineas Day, BMW Caulfield Cup Day and Arrowfield Stud Blue Diamond Stakes Day. Upon presentation of both the Full Member and Clip Clop Club Member Cards a Daily Junior Members’ Reserve Guest Pass will be issued by a Membership Representative at the Race Day Office
