Reciprocal Clubs and Privileges

The Melbourne Racing Club has a variety of reciprocal rights with other Metropolitan, Interstate and Overseas race clubs. These privileges are outlined below.

Melbourne Racing Club Members are required to pay Racecourse Admission and then produce their current Membership Card and Photo ID at the Secretary’s/Race day Office to claim one complimentary Members’ Reserve pass for the day. Members may purchase one additional pass for a guest if required.

Members must be able to produce photo ID (eg. drivers licence) upon request to verify their Membership.

Victorian Clubs

Applies to non feature mid week and non feature Sunday meetings only.

• Victorian Country Club (Excludes Country Cup days and all 3 days of Warrnambool Carnival).

Interstate Clubs

Access to all race meetings.

• Sydney Turf Club (Canterbury & Rosehill)
• South Australian Jockey Club (Morphettville, Cheltenham & Victoria Park)
• Queensland Turf Club (Eagle Farm)
• Brisbane Turf Club (Doomben)
• Gold Coast Turf Club (Gold Coast)
• Sunshine Coast Turf Club (Caloundra)
• Western Australian Turf Club (Belmont & Ascot)
• Tasmania Racing Club (Elwick)
• Tasmania Turf Club (Mowbray)
• Darwin Turf Club* (Fannie Bay)

*Members’ Reserve Passes for the Darwin Cup Carnival must be arranged in advance by contacting the Melbourne Racing Club Membership Department.

Overseas Clubs

• New Zealand - All race meetings, including Carnival days at the following Clubs: Auckland RC, Waikato RC, Wellington RC, Canterbury JC & Otago RC.
• All other Countries - At discretion of Club Secretary/Chief Executive.

Please note that the reciprocal arrangement between Clubs provides for casual visits only and is not intended for unlimited use at any one Club.
